In the centre of the picture there is the back of a stop sign which is large and there are 3 clouds directly above it. It looks like the clouds literally on top of the sign, but the photographer has positioned the camera so it looks as if the clouds are sitting on the sign. To the left of the photograph there is a small caravan parked directly in front of a large, triangular tree that is next to a big house. The house looks like there is someone living in it because there is a car further down the driveway, the windows are open and there is a swing in the front garden nearby a small triangular tree beside other trees. There are some more trees but theres quite a lot so I can't really count them. In the background, there is a car driving down a long, wide road with some electricity/telephone poles.
In the foreground, there is only one thing: a backwards stop sign which is very large and clear. In the middle ground, there is just ground, some grass and a bit of weeds doted around. The background is quite busy. There is a big house. a tall, narrow triangular tree, a larger triangular tree and some other trees altogether so I cant really count them. There are also three clouds which looks like they're directly on top of the backwards stop sign. Also, there is a caravan, a swing and a car.
The backwards stop sign is in focus as well as the trees, houses, car and caravan. Right at the far end of the road, thee is a car driving down which is out of focus. The subject, the backwards stop sign has been framed to be in the centre of the photograph.
The most interesting/mysterious part is the backwards stop sign with the three clouds directly above it. It is mysterious because the clouds are part of the background but the photographer has made it look like it is in the foreground of the photo.
I would ask the photographer:
I think that it would be quite peaceful living in this photograph because there is a big, detached house with lots of trees and quite a peaceful main road. The garden looks very big so there is space to plant flowers and make the front look a little more attracting than it already is.
I think the artist has made this photograph because it looked ver quiet and peaceful and the positioning of clouds directly above the sign looks like an illusion.
I think that the stop sign with the clouds directly above it is very effective because it makes the viewer wonder why it is positioned like that. I think that the middleground doesn't work so well because it is quite plain and empty but the busy and full background evens it out a bit .

I would ask the photographer:
- Why did you choose the back of a sign with some clouds coinsidently above it?
- Why did you choose to take a photo of a road/street?
